I love Ewing's writing but it is Sandoval's art that is giving me pause. It is too new age for me and I cannot stand it. He makes everyone look nefarious and evil and as if they are on the verge of a serious mental breakdown/insanity episode.

I wanted to like this so badly because I love Wiccan, Hulkling, and Squirrel Girl, but the art style ruined it. It doesn't even really work as a series opener because nothing is explained. This was super disappointing because it was my 1000th CMRO comic and it was a 1 star.

Not a huge fan of the artwork, but the story seems compelling enough. And two of my favorite characters are in it too. And it's really funny. So go read it.
