All the characters were so one dimensional. The main character was very immature with no arc. It makes sense that she was immature to start with but she didn’t grow until one magical moment when she transformed into an enlightened gay at the very end. Some of the writing felt unnatural, especially during romantic or spicy scenes. Just felt like the author was trying too hard

I might revisit this rating later after I've stewed but I really liked it. There were times when I felt like too much might be going on, but I did feel pulled along the main character's journey. It's been a minute since I've read something that wasn't dual POV, but I think the amount of stuff going on sticking to one perspective was a good call. I devoured this book.

It was recommended by my Queen Rachel Lynn Solomon, so you know I had to read it ASAP!

It was a beautiful book that was very relatable to this late-blooming bisexual with characters that were fun and sweet. The "love triange" was actually written well in a way that I didn't hate, as someone who doesn't normally like them. I enjoyed the plot and the discourse on queer life, what being out means, and virginity, which felt like commentary while also fitting into the plot very well. I wasn't sure who Luna was going to end up with for most of the book, which kept me engaged and interested until the last page.

I wanted Luna to have a little bit more personality, especially since all of the other characters felt bigger and more fleshed out than her. I understand anxiety, but she just didn't have enough agency in her own life. Lastly, she needs a new therapist, she doesn't seem to trust that one...
