Had to read this book since I love the Morbid podcast and let me say Alaina absolutely KILLED IT (ha bc it’s a serial killer story) I’m so happy I read this book and the twists were amazing I can’t wait for her to write more💗

Where to begin... This story is told from the perspective of the serial killer Jeremy/Cal and of the Medical Examiner Wren Muller. IT swaps back and forth in each chapter. Jeremy is hunting his victims (literally), and Wren is hunting him with the evidence left with each murder victim she finds. It's a wild goose chase, and it is so gripping and addictive that I read it in one day! It's set in New Orleans, Loisiana Bayou, and it's described so well. I was tense for the whole second part of the book. Really great read!

Couldn’t put it down. A little frustrated by the ending. I liked the twist but am confused about timeline stuff.

The first part was 5 stars for me. Part two brought it down quite a bit...
