Colin is much less dickish in this than in the show. However I am not sure why having the leading man be a dick to a woman he supposedly loves is so popular in the romance genre.

I’m so glad I read this before this season comes out because this was so great to see Penelope become her own woman!
really enjoyed penelope in this but I am reading after I watched their season and colin feels way more angry in the book. he gave me the ick a few times

I actually thought this one was super cute. I loved their love story.

As much as I hate Collin, he's so sweet. Really. I really liked when he tries so hard to protect Penelope and when he realize that Penelope's growing more pretty by years. He's very sweet. I think I can relate to Penelope's life, you know, being a wallflower. Even though this book isn't exactly five stars, I enjoyed it so much.
I didn't know that this book is the fourth book in the series. Now I can't wait to read the first one and finished them all. :)
