5/5, 10/10....shiiieeettttt 3000/10! I have a deep admiration for this book because it was enthralling, captivating, and had me at the edge of my seat anticipating what is going to happen next. The artwork is very unique, and you can tell its a work that is akin to Naoki Urosawa. I loved Dr. Tenma's character and how passionate he is towards his patients, which makes him such a loveable character.
His decision to prioritize a child vs a high ranking official led to unprecedented events at the hospital, and this is where the story gets really interesting.

I read this one because it was recommended to me by a good friend but I did not know anything about this work before I started reading it. In this first volume we follow Dr. Tenma since his is an important surgeon in Germany to the key event in the plot: he saved the live of a boy who was in a strange murder case. After he saved the boy's live, people begging to die and Dr. Tenma needs some answers. The story is thrilling, the plot is incredible and the tension is always high. You feel the need to discover the truth as much as Dr. Tenma feels it. A must-read.

La historia comienza con el Dr. Tenma, que tras haber salvado la vida de un chico se generan un montón de consecuencias que no había previsto: el doctor recupera las riendas de su vida pero también cosas malas sucederán... y querrá saber el doctor la verdad de todo este asunto. Una gran lectura y totalmente recomendada.
