I didn't love the age gap. But I liked how it tied up the series.

Darn these books keeping me up too late. They're so easy to zoom through. I really liked the ending to this family saga and I will definitely auto-buy whatever Alisha Rai does next. I read some complaints that there wasn't enough focus on Gabe and Eve's story but I felt it was fine. I wasn't completely wowed by them but it was good. I definitely appreciated the wrap-up to all the family drama and all the secrets being exposed.

Overall it's a very feel-good series and I love the fact that there was more to it than JUST the couple and their inner monologues, since it's tough to flesh out a 300-some-odd book without something more than "he's hot, she's got amazing XYZ but we're all wrong for each other oh noes" and not make it super repetitive (one of my ultimate pet peeves).

I found this one okay. I hate a older younger relationship with this weird immature crush pining situation. I found the way the author handled it to be well done with maturity but just not my favorite. Also this one felt a tad like soap opera leave drama.

I'm so sad to be done with series.

In the final installment, baby of the family, Eve Chandler tries to convince the teddy bear of a tattoo shop owner, Gabe Hunter, that she's not a little girl anymore, while Gabe tries to overcome a lifelong secret and accept the love being offered him.

Besides Eve and Gabe's story, it's Livvy and Nico's wedding, and the extended Kane and Chandler clans finally face their remaining demons.

This read like a soap opera, which I quite enjoyed. I read it out of order, but it didn't completely feel I needed to read the first two, although I might do that because this was kinda fun.

While this felt to me like the weakest one in the trilogy, I still absorbed it and loved seeing Gabe and Eve especially bloom across each page. With 3 weddings, a baby, and a spontaneous engagement, every minute was infused with the joy of reconnecting family and finding new found family to open your heart to along the way. I happy cried a whole bunch. Seriously the best and sweetest end to the Oka-Kane & Chandler story I could have asked for.
