"They only let you be this happy if they're preparing to take something from you."

I have to say, nothing ever prepared me for this. I also didn't expect to add another character to my ever-growing list of unlikable protagonists, but here we are.

Courage and cowardice go hand and hand in this novel like a cruel, inseparable, twist of fate. But where there is regret, there is also redemption.

There are heavy themes in this book so tread carefully. Overall, it is definitely worth reading.
