I don't give this book five out of five because it's McFly any they are my favourite band. I don't give this rating because I love their music (although I truly do!). I give this rating because this book deserves it.
"Unsaid Things.... Our Story" is personal. The more personal something is, the more relatable it can be, and while they will always be 'famous untouchables' in a way, there are still aspects if their lives that are completely average and mundane. And that shows. And that shows.
This book made me laugh, whether it was just they way they worded something so I could picture that McFlyer saying it, or it was one of the guys telling a story about himself or another. It also brought me to years at points. When they were telling of their time in Uganda? Yeah, that was too much to take for me and I found tears escaping while I read through what they had to say.
This book also gave me what I somewhat craved: an insight into the boys behind the band, the truth behind some of the stories I had read from various sources (none of them being even remotely reputable). I had heard about the rumours about Harry and Lindsay Lohan, and I had heard that Dougie had punched Harry at one point, but being able to read everything from them made it all the more better than just finding out about on some somewhat reputable website at some point. (Even the most reputable websites can carry their false information.) Learning about what Tom and Dougie have going through mentally and physically is mind blowing and eye opening. It's just incredible that they opened up about so much, about such personal parts of their lives (more personal even that their love lives in a way.)
So, all in all, this book deserves five out of five, for making me laugh, making me cry, making me not want to ever put it down (all the while knowing it was somewhat sacrilegious to have waited so long to read it and then read it so quickly - I was away and travelling for a couple months after it first came out, and then I was unable to get my hands on a copy... and then when I did, I had to wait a couple weeks longer for it to come in the mail), and giving me the stories and details behind the music, as well as the band.
Is it too soon to read it all over again? :)

A great book for McFly fans. There's so much in here that I didn't know. Funny moments, beautiful photos, heartbreaking times, stories of the songs and friendship overall.
This is the story of McFly since the beginning. The boys tell each of their stories growing up, the origin of the band and everything after that.
I really miss McFly's concerts. I wish they could do more. But at the same time I love that they're all so happy. I'm so glad I read this, I wish I would have read it sooner though!

Honest and so very good. I'll always be very proud to call myself a McFly fan!
I'm a big McFly fan and this book was... too many feels. You can really see how they began as 4 little British boys who dreamed with music and the difficulties and problems they had to go through to be where they are now, but without forgetting the greatest funny moments (the intro was hilarious too!).
And you get to know really personal things about them, like Tom's and Dougie's (oh, Dougie, my poor little baby. I was very shocked when I read his confession...).
Technically, the book was really fluent and easy to read, well-written and not full of photographs like other biographies. I definitely recommend this book if you're a galaxy defender or if you're interested in knowing something more about this incredible band, you will enjoy it for sure!

I didn't go to school today so I could sit down and read this whole book. And I finished. It literally is the best book I have ever read. It made me laugh, cry, everything. I thought I KNEW McFly. Turns out.. I didn't. Some parts I literally had to stop reading cos I was crying so hard, but maybe that was me just being a fangirl, i dunno :) But seriously. It was great. If someone ever hated McFly (dunno why they would) I would like to see them read this book and try and come out of it hating them. Bet they wouldn't cos it's too great. Now I'm going to have everyone I know read this. <3
