I think this review might have one spoiler so you've been warned!

This book deserves 5 stars because it reminded why I like McFLY, they've been somewhat quiet for the past couple of year and new artists have appeared with whom I've gotten completely obsessed but no matter what happens if I hear the name McFLY I will listen. I was a bit reluctant to reading this book since I didn't know what to expect, the boy are amazing at music but when they tried to do something else they fail...badly (remember the movie where Harry became a vampire? Which funny enough was not mentioned on the book!) but I have to admit I enjoy this book. It was like reading a really good and personal interview. I giggled remembering some stuff and definitely got me excited for what's to come. I sincerely hope they make new music soon!

It was a good book. It was interesting to read about how McFly was formed and I liked how honest they were about their personal problems

There is definitely some grammatical and editorial errors throughout, but to read about the early days, the great days, and the hard days of my favorite band - I’ll deal with it! ❤️

I’m only mad it took me this long to finally read it!

First of all I'd really like to thank Louise who gave me this book as a Christmas present. So sweet and thoughtful, definitely ***** for that ;)

The book makes an interesting and fun read. Of course one cannot call it literature, I don't even think they set out to make it a 'well written' biography with a sophisticated writing style and such. For this book that obviously also didn't have to be the main point. They just wanted to tell their side of the story and so they did. It did make me wonder often why they decided some stories necessarily had to be in the book and others did not. I don't know if I was that interested to hear how many ladies Danny has pulled or whatever (but maybe that's the old jealous chlamydia seeking fan-girl in me speaking, hahaha).

Nostalgia is me. I think the most predominant feeling now is the wish that I could go back to that moment in time that I still cared so vigorously about these guys. It's a shame that it has faded away as much. Of course I will never not support them but they don't hold that same important place in my heart and life anymore that they used to and that is a real shame. Guess that now I just got to hope that the new album will blow me away and maybe I will see a live show by them again soon to rekindle that fire.

Seeing as McFly have been, are, and always will be my favourite band ever, I had to buy this so I could read it. Seriously I thought I knew a lot about these guys, but apparently there was a lot that i didn't know about them. This book made me love them even more, if that's possible. Just everything they've dealt with all their lives is astounding, and I'm so proud of them for sticking together through it all, even though it hasn't been flowers and rainbows all the time.

I don't have anything else to say than, I love these guys, and I'll be a Galaxy defender the rest of my life :)
