Great writing style, amazing idea about an important topic, but failing to address said topic from more than one perspective. Main character is kind of a prick. Overemphasis of biology (felt a bit trans exclusionary) and no mention of the fact that some people just don't want kids, period. Main character, a woman who hates women, is presented as edgy rather than misogynistic. Maybe we are supposed to pick this up and the author meant to provoke me into annoyance at the kind of problematic nature of the main character? In any case this realization could have been worked into the book to provide a more well-rounded discussion
