Ok, look.
The cool thing about the TV series is that you kind of empathize with Joe. That's mind-blowing and disturbing. It seems like a good dude sometimes, but he's so fucked up. He's fucking insane. And yet, YOU think he's a nice guy. WTF!
I didn't see any of that in here. In the book Joe is disgusting from the beginning. Pros of this: girls don't get to romanticize this shitty stalking relationship. Cons: the TV series is so much better!! I'm a big fan of the twists in
