Deep Dark Fears

The more you read these crowd-sourced "deep dark fears" compiled and imagined in graphic form, you realize how very normal it is to have irrational and ridiculous worries and fears! The comic visual and the irrationality make it inherently humorous, and you may even recognize a few of your own idiosyncrasies here.

Entertaining read - my husband and I read through this one together laughing aloud, and sharing a few of our own... I will check out his Tumblr.

Very funny and disturbing book. Loved it!

I've seen a few of these on Tumblr & recently picked up this collection. Some really don't seem like fears, a few really ARE creepy, and one in particular actually really hit home & made me uncomfortable. Overall I enjoyed all the little comics & Krause's art style & I'm glad I took the time to read them all here.

Deep Dark Fears is a collection of short webcomics of, as the title suggests, deep dark fears. I found reading it kind of unnerving because I relate so strongly to a bunch of them. Some are definitely remnants of childhood, but others are totally weird adult fears. Everything is really sweetly illustrated in watercolor too. I really hope the library buys this because it would be perfect for our display tables.

This was SO funny and sometimes creepy
