A little bit too chaotic for my liking.

I’m just confused as to why this is the first Karin slaughter adaption. The good daughter and pretty girls are so good. This was just boring and your run of the mill mystery.

3.5 or 3.75 for me on this one. I love Karin Slaughter, and the story was indeed great. My only complaint is that one of 2 main characters was just so pitiful. If Andi had even an inkling of a backbone that would have propelled this to a 4.5 for me. I almost DNF'd it just because of her constant lack of any courage at all.

I love hearing Kathleen Early narrate Karin Slaughter's books, and this one was no different on that.

This was just okay. I enjoyed listening to it but I don't care to read the whole series of this. It's not one I will rave about.

It just wasn’t my cup of tea. I tried to start the series on Netflix too, but I don’t know. I just thought all the character were pretty flat….I didn’t really connect with any of them or feel empathy for them.
