Still Beating is a dark romance with a lot of trigger warnings. But what I like about this book is how they conquered their trauma together in a non toxic way. I loved the story. How they survived the tragic event and still ends up together and to be happy. They totally deserve it. Such an amazing book.

I never cry reading books and this book made me cry. I was reading in public when it made me cry too 😭. It has AMAZING PTSD representation. RUN to get this book!

This book has a lot of trigger warnings and it was very difficult for me to read the earlier parts of the story. But what a beautiful story. My heart went out to all of the characters. This story was so different from books that I usually read. It was so touching, captivating, and brought out so many emotions. I loved it. It lived up to all the hype on social media

I am giving this book 5 stars because the emotion that I felt from this story was so strong. This book is definitely not for the faint of heart. However, the message is so important and the story is just so good. It speaks a lot about trauma bonding and how to recover. Additionally, how others can misunderstand trauma that is experienced especially if they were not a witness to it.
