This issue loses the thread a little, descending into details that don't make much sense without a broader understanding of the world and the characters that inhabit it. This seems like it could have been a fascinating world, but it didn't offer enough story in any of the issues for much more of an understanding of that world than a basic outline.

I'm going to give this a 3.5* rating overall because I really like the ideas in this but I do feel like I don't quite 'get' everything else yet and there seems like there's a lot more still to come. This is a series which deals with some pretty weird characters and scenes. It is definitely not afraid of being a bit 'out there' and it's a fast read with dramatic art and style.
I actually really enjoyed the extra story we got in this issue as it was really interesting to read and hear more backstory of the creators, but I do think that the actual issue part was less exciting than the first as it was shorter on the whole.
A good continuation which I enjoyed, but I'm not sure how it will wrap up in just one more issue!
3.5*s overall
