I received an ARC of A Code of Wonder which is the 8th book in The Code Breakers series. This was a fast paced book that was fun to read. Perfect for reading in one set down. Nicholas “Nash”, the Earl of Wessex, was bored of his life in town. He decides to travel to his estate that he hasn’t been to in years. He had stopped at an inn for the night when he was intrigued to see a female climbing from the nearby inn’s window. Elizabeth Lyon had been mistaken for her sister and kidnapped by French men. She was determined to escape and warn her sister and brother in law. When Nash came out of the inn and fought the French men, she stole his horse intending to get home. Nash is astonished his horse let her ride him but followed her to help her. When she slips off he rescues her and takes her to a nearby hunting lodge. They are found in a compromising position by her family. Will they catch the French men and be forced to marry?
