I'm not sure how to feel about this graphic novel yet... The art wasn't to my taste, although there were some cool scenes. None of the main characters are sympathetic as of yet, although there are some side characters that have potential. There's also been a lot of gore and nudity, but it feels forced and purposeless, like it's there just to keep the readers attention. I'll give this another chance, but the next volume needs to explain what the heck is even happening, because I'm kind of confused.

Warnings for gore, nudity and non-con.

I just wanted there to be more story here...

Closer to 3.5 stars. The plotting is a bit all over the place, but this is the first collection and there’s more to come, so this rating might go up whenever the whole run is finished.
So far, it’s been a fun, violent Southern Gothic witch tale that prizes feminism above all else. The watercolor panels are refreshing and look different from any other book I’ve seen. Can’t wait to read more!

‪Wow! This is a take-no-prisoners horror comic that really pushes all the right buttons! A dark, hot & vibrant story with creepy-gorgeous art. Perfect! ‬
