I kept checking out the wrong format books so I figured I'd finish this series since it was available.

I...just wanted it to be done. I kept getting annoyed by the characters. The voice actor's voice kept pronouncing their "s"'s that hurt my hearing. I did not fully comprehend how the curse works. I enjoyed trying to figure out which fairy tale belonged to who on the first book but they skipped out on a lot of princess's. I get it be best to narrow it down to a few characters but even then it felt short. Also a bit strange to add Black Swan.

I don’t know how to feel. I loved it but I really just did not like Ella and Freddie’s ending. I wish we could’ve seen them together like Rory and Pippa and Nani and Svenja. I feel like choosing him would be the first choice she got to make for herself. Being with someone doesn’t make you weak or mean you can’t “save yourself”. Idk I just didn’t like how that ended. Especially since the others stayed with their partners. Ella deserved to have that love

i really enjoyed this book, but i definitely liked the first one better. I am glad that i finished this series and i liked the ending even though it was a bit confusing, i also feel like i should've seen the ending coming a lot sooner than i did (like maybe in the first book, but whatever)

i liked how all the main characters started fighting for what they wanted in this book rather than just sitting back and accepting their fate. the development of all the characters was perfect for me and i really like how this book took fairy tales and put a little twist on it.

definitely going to be thinking about this book for awhile, especially the part where yuki eats an actual human heart??? yea you read that right

Solid book, I like the reinterpretation of fairytales but I feel like the author spelled it out a bit too much with the ending- the audience doesn’t discover anything on their own or have the freedom to make their own interpretations of characters- but a good message!

All the MCs are queer (lesbian x2, bi demisexual, aro), trans love interest, bi love interest. Just generally very queer. It's also a very interesting and fun story. Mystery-solving, fairy tale inspired, and the power of friendship

I was all for this until about chapter 70 when they kinda lost me. The whole breaking the fourth wall thing felt like a very cheesy Disney Channel-ish method at getting some comedic relief in there even when that’s totally not necessary. If it wasn’t for that, it would’ve been great but that really bugged me. I loved how much more prominent the fairytales were in this book though!!
