The first in this series was such a good book- I always worry the sequel won’t pan out the way I want it to or hype it up in my head. Thankfully, I didn’t need to worry with this one. It hit right off where we left off in Grimrose Girls, and ended in a nice bow. Cannot wait to see what’s next from Laura Pohl!

i think it was a good ending to the duology but it didn’t give me those five star feelings. i enjoyed reading about the characters again.

This book is much better than the first. The relationships between the characters are much more tangible and they all have far more agency. The story is compelling and the overall message is very sweet.

I loved everything about this one! The whole modern day twist on a cursed fairy tale life. To the friendships and how important they are as a teenage girl on the brink of figuring out what happens next.
