So fun and wholesome, Casey McQuiston doesn't miss. All the references were so fun too.

The more i read YA the more i realize there are very few YA books that actually do it for me, i cared more about Smith & Rory than anything else

I think it was a good book but I definitely like their other works better which is why I give a 3. Probably because those are older people so I'm able to relate to it somewhat more. But I still think this book is great and I'm glad that queer youth have it. I agree with the acknowledgments, this book is great for the Smiths, Chloes, Sharas, Rorys, Georgias of the world. Kids who are in similar situations with homophobic schools and parents. It gives hope that you'll find your queer family and that you're not alone. There are so many people like you you're not the only one feeling how you feel. I think the plot was good. It was fine. I liked but I don't think there was anything really special for me at least. Not as funny as the other books I guess? I think I would still recommend it to high schoolers though

Not her best work. It was half missing person crime trail and that was kind of boring and kind of pointless too, and there was not enough romance for me. At least not like in her other books. But I did like the ending, that was very sweet. I also relate way to much to religious trauma lol so that part was funny for me. But also shara is so dramatic is was very unnecessary.

Completely over the top with the fact that literally everyone in this story is gay, and the situation is pretty unbelievable, but the story is so good and fun that none of that stuff matters! It was just a really fun read.
