This book reminded me so much of the movie Never Been Kissed with Drew Barrymore!! Especially the last 20 pages.. so so good! Such a good love story about Fate and who your destined to be with!

This book kept me entertained but did feel predictable at times with common tropes.
I also found Oscar to be very unlikeable which was probably the authors goal but I thought there was no chemistry at all between Laurie and Oscar leading up to their marriage. Again maybe that was the point, but it dragged on a bit too long.

This book had some cute moment, but it mainly was a love triangle...which is something I don't like.

I'm gradually adding books I've read in 2021 to give a true reflection of the books I've read since keeping records.  This was the first book I read in 2021, and is what kick started my reading journey having put reading on the back burner whilst bringing up the children, previously being an avid reader. Laurie sees a boy from a bus in December their eyes meet and the. The bus drives away. She thinks she won't see him again, but at a party a year later her best friend Sarah introduces her to her new live of her life Jack who is the boy from the bus. She let's the idea of him go and gets on with her life. Marrying some one else. It's a slushy read.
