I received an advanced review copy of this book for free, but that doesn't matter as I would have just gotten it on KU. I've just recently gotten into this genre, omegaverse I think it's called. This is now one of my favorite books, this genre or outside of this genre. The story is so well written, an Omega is pressured by her family to mate with a pack, when things don't go as she thought they would, it's heartbreaking. For me, it was, this book made me cry multiple times! I could feel her pain in my own heart, was angry and worried and happy and just about every other emotion throughout the story. It was a great read and I stayed up way too late 2 nights in a row to finish it. Great read, wonderful story!!

Redemption romances are very hit or miss for me. If there's not sufficient grovelling from the MMC's, it just won't have the cathartic effect that's needed for me to bear through the bullying. 

And unfortunately, I didn't feel like the conflict was resolved in a healthy way. The FMC forgave and forgot way too easily. 

Apart from that, I felt like the three MMCs apart from the pack leader could have shown more agency throughout the book. It's something I see happen a lot in why-choose books, and I want the books I read to have fully fleshed-out characters that stand out from each other and have the power to make their own choices in the story. 

Overall, I don't think it's a terrible book, just not for me. Which is a shame, because I had high hopes for it.

it was a great story that had me on a roller coaster of emotion during the read. I couldn't stop yelling at characters but it was great lol.

Aside from the abuse present throughout the book that doesn't truly resolve in a healthy way, the book has a poorly developed plot and conflict resolution and inconsistencies. One, albeit minor, where the MC's best friend is described as having black and pink hair cut in a bob; about 100 pages later the friend has auburn curls. There's far better stories with rejected mates that are better written and don't glamorize abuse the way this book does.
