major miscommunication, mutual pining (but that whole idea of there's no way he/she'll ever love me back), power couple moments, slow burn. a lot. is happening. innocent girl v. corrupt guy. he is a literal porn star. like- what the fuck. anyways. i don't know how i feel abt the writing style, it's like third person but dual perspective. it's hard bc it doesn't ever actually say who's perspective it's from so u have to use context each time which can be a bit confusing especially when they're both in the scene. but. overall p good, took me longer than it should have for a book as short as this one is but it's alright, i was distracted a lot this week. if spice isn't ur thing, don't read this! there's lots of references, several scenes, and the mc is a pornstar / they (minor spoiler) build a new type of a porn company together so, obviously sex is gonna be unavoidable. overall mostly enjoyable, i don't like the miscommunication shit, wasn't really anything to rave abt tho tbh. so, somewhere between 3-3.5 stars

This was a cute romcom. I loved the sex positivity in this book. I think this was handled very well.

3.75⭐️ this book was really cute but i just wanted more about josh’s life we got a lot from clara’s life before she moved and i just wanted to know more about josh…. also wasn’t a huge fan of clara
