je voulais l'aimer parce qu'un podcast que j'apprécie beaucoup le recommandait fortement @whatthefic. Je voulais tellement être fan moi aussi et faire partie du club. Malheureusement, ce n'est pas le cas. Je n'ai pas aimé le dirty talk, le happy ending était à vomir

(pour quoi ça prend toujours un mariage ?)

les personnages étaient tellement peu décrits que je n'ai aucune image mentale (Clara a des gros seins et Josh une graine "épaisse", qu'est-ce que ça veut dire une graine épaisse?) Naomi est rousse et bhen chix. c'est tout. On dit au lecteur que ce n'est pas qu'une question d'attirance et qu'il y a de l'amour mais on n'y croit pas vraiment. Certains sujets auraient été intéressants a développer comme les conditions de travail des acteurs de X mais ça reste en surface malheureusement.
Le smut était pas pire.

okay i don’t want to be a hater but….
this took me over two weeks to read, the longest a book has taken me since last year.
clara was BORING. josh was good.
i only started enjoying it slightly at the 250 page mark, which considering the book is a 315 page romance…
yeah this was a no from me but i did enjoy maybe two scenes! 1.75 stars!

Vibes- it was a fun read and the characters weren’t what I expected. The tension in the beguine was fun with the forced proximity. The end fell flat for me.
