4.5/5 rounded up. This little book is so nostalgic for me. It was one of the very first books I fell in love with as a kid and actually read from cover to cover. Revisiting it brought back so many good memories.

One of my personal favorites. Just finished reading it with my kid and she loved it too. Fun read with good lessons .
Cute old-fashioned adventure story, reminded me of the Oz books. Lots of great puns and wordplay :)
This book is so clever and witty, I found myself reading sections over and over again. It's a little like Wizard of Oz. The main character, a child from our world, goes to another place where things are a bit bizarre and twisted. He meets up with several colorful characters who accompany him on his grand quest to save their world and find the boy's way back home. My favorite part of the book was where Milo, the hero, meets up with a boy who is floating in midair. Turns out, this boy's people grow down instead of up. So, they always know what height they'll end up at. I look forward to reading this to my son one day.

I started reading this book a few years ago but never got to continue it, but a little later I got the book again and I fell in LOVE.
The story, the characters, the setting, everything was absolutely amazing. The way its all laid out and the pictures, its magical.
You should absolutely read this book, it may seem childish but it is 1000% worth it.
