a must read!
Easy to digest, with humor alongside a deep but insightful exploration of history and truth. How Emmanuel and Noa discuss difficult issues with respect and love is the best way to uncover the realities of being a Jew and an ally hand in hand.

"Uncomfortable Conversations with a Jew" by Emmanuel Acho and Noa Tishby is a breath of fresh air in a world increasingly divided. This powerful book doesn't shy away from difficult topics, instead tackling them head-on with honesty and insightful dialogue. Acho's questions, both thought-provoking and sometimes uncomfortable, pave the way for Tishby's insightful responses that shed light on Jewish identity, history, and the complex realities faced by the Jewish community today.
What truly elevates this book is its timeliness. Antisemitism is a growing threat worldwide, and "Uncomfortable Conversations" equips readers with the knowledge and understanding to combat it. By dismantling stereotypes and fostering empathy, the book encourages open communication – a crucial step towards building bridges and dismantling prejudice.
The book's impact extends far beyond the pages. Inspired by its message, I contacted my local library and requested they add "Uncomfortable Conversations" to their collection. To my delight, the request was approved! Imagine my excitement when I became the very first person to check out this newly acquired book.
If you're looking for a book that challenges assumptions, fosters understanding, and empowers you to be an ally, "Uncomfortable Conversations with a Jew" is a must-read.

I thought this was a really insightful book, and definitely really important to read. There were some things that I didn't totally agree with, but it is always worth hearing what a person has to say about something they are passionate about.
I loved the conversation-style formatting of this book. It was easy to read and engaging. I loved the chapter where they actually had some disagreements, and it almost makes me wish they disagreed more. But that would be silly.

This will most likely be the most important book you read or listen to this year (I highly recommend listening to it). If seeing this title makes you feel angry or dismissive I challenge you to delve into discomfort and tackle why this title brings out those feelings by reading or listening to this. Emmanuel Acho asks the tricky questions that need to be asked and Noa Tishby does a fantastic job in answering them. The only way to combat hate is by having conversations and Mr. Acho and Ms. Tishby have opened the door for everyone else.
I also urge you to watch Mr. Acho’s YouTube series Uncomfortable Conversations with Emmanuel Acho. The only way past the discomfort is through and Mr. Acho is the perfect person to guide us through the rocky, crumbly terrain to understanding the differences in others.
