Horse racing is a topic I would normally never pick up a book on. But this book got such good reviews that I decided to check it out, and I'm glad I did. Competition and adversity are compelling narratives, and they are handled masterfully here. Worth a read.

I'm not big on horseracing, but this book was so very interesting. This author is an excellent writer, and it's quite a fascinating story.
