Laguardia uses true aliens to speak of racism, bigotry, prejudice, immigration and immigration reform It was told very well from several difference viewpoints of beliefs. Entertaining, yet informative story. Sad, yet positive ending. Well done.

Read for Housman’s Feminist Science Fiction Book Club - our annual festive treat is usually a graphic novel. This feels like a sequel to Lagoon by the same author which was the first book I read with this group. I think the graphic novel, format suits this author and her storytelling style extremely well. I loved the way the different aliens were portrayed and the hints at a much larger backstory - which I hope we get!
