I read this when it first came out. I was 10 and I stayed up reading, hooked and loving every second. Rereading it, I felt like I was ten again and that was brilliant. These are my favourite books ever and I think I could reread them over and over and never get sick of them.
The second installment of Ruby's secret agent adventures is just as thrilling and full of exciting cliff-hangers as the first. I can safely say what a brilliant novel this is. I love solving clues and riddles alongside Ruby and never knowing what will happen next. The only thing that left me a little frustrated and confused was the ending; i would have liked her to be with Clancy and/or Hitch at the end and would have liked her to have gone to a debriefing at Spectrum. This is just my opinion however, as i sometimes need to have things explained once a mystery is solved to understand clearly. But all-in-all, a fantastic read.
This was an okay book, no emotional pulls whatsoever. I don't know about other people, but sometimes I just want to sink into a book and let someone else's problems make mine feel insignificant for a while. This book had nothing to pull me back, make me want to find out what happens.
it was a good adventure book for younger readers.
