Okay I am invested in this series now and need to know what happens next. I need to see if/how all these story lines are brought together. Highly recommend if you want a W/W romance with a good amount of spice and deep character building.

I find Robert to be a comfort read. It’s not the best writing but it’s cozy and comforting and easy.

If I actually liked the characters, this probably would've got a better rating, but I didn't, so oh well. This sucks because I started this series for this book specifically, and I didn't even like it. 
The character "arcs" were so choppy and inconsistent that I felt I was getting whiplash or a jump scare each time one of them made a decision, and eventually, I just got tired of it. 
It also felt very repetitive. I think one of the issues with that was that both main characters are very stubborn, so they would communicate and talk about issues, but that never seemed to resolve anything because it never felt like they were really listening to each other.
Also, I think this book made me realize that I'm not super into lust-at-first-sight or benefits-to-lovers.
