I keep reading these because I'm so deeply invested in the story at this point, but I feel more disappointed with each passing book. I know these are geared to a younger age demographic than myself, but they are very flat and un-compelling until the very end. It's the last exciting sprint that leaves you read to pick up another book.

I definitely feel like this book tied up some loose ends, but would have loved for it to be longer and more in depth. Can't wait for the next book.

It answered some, asked some. In the 6th book of the Villains series by Serena Valentino, we explore the odd sisters' past and what everything they wrote in their journals means.
Circling back to the previous book, the story of the witches in the dead woods continues. Snow White is a persisting character in the story, and a deeper, more morbid aspect of her relationship with Grimhilde is revealed.
We discover the reason for Lucinda, Ruby, and Martha's deranged behavior and the shocking, heartbreaking way to bring the sisters back to their old selves.
This book is witchy, engaging, and dramatic, all aspects that made me love it.

A bit hard to follow at times but a fun read. Left me wanting more back story.

Loved this one again! Maybe my favourite Villain Tale so far (but I think that every time 🙈) I really liked that this one had even more surprise because we really don’t know that much about the Odd Sisters yet.
