This book was LONNGGGGG as I don’t know what!! I enjoyed it once it got going but there was a lot of build up leading up to the big boom 💥 that doesn’t occur until wayyyyy at the end of the book. I can appreciate how the author set up the impromptu meet up between Bre, Mariah, Nick, and Zoe at the auction event. I could tell it was coming which is fine but I was just waiting for it to happen. There was a lot of repeating of events. For example, Bree had to tell like 3 different people about her burning her ancestral lines and had to face disappointing people multiple times. I just wish she told everyone about doing it at once so we didn’t have to read about it over and over again. Also Bre losing her memory did add a level of drama but she ended up getting her memory back anywayyyy BUT ig she needed that to happen so she could “fall before she rises”.
The first book is still the best book but let’s see what Ms. Tracy pulls out of her hat for the next book 🗡️⚔️✨👑💜❤️

Definitely a series filler book. Almost nothing happens until the last 2 or 3 chapters
