Toxic Toffee

This series is now one of my favorites! The humor, great characters, Amish country community, and solid mysteries keep me coming back for more!

Bailey King returned home to Harvest after being in NYC to tape a cooking show on Amish candy. Immediately she is drawn into making Easter candies and roped into creating a 6 ft plus toffee Easter bunny for the town square. And of course, she's witness to a murder and becomes involved in figuring it out. As always, the story is well done and the characters are charming. The murderer was a tad evident, but not how it was done or all those involved. A fun and engaging read! Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Bailey and Aiden are my fave cozy mystery couple.

This is, by far, my fav cozy mystery that I am reading right now. excited for the next one to come out!

OMG I swear each one is getting more dangerous.. and this time she did the right thing! Can't wait for more Jethro & hot cop

Wow even more drama. Who knew? The series just keeps getting more and more interesting.

The twist at the end regarding the culprit was not one that I expected!

Listened to the audiobook. I really love where these books are headed. Each one has his own mystery to be solved that are similar but different enough to make you want to keep reading.

This is on the cusp between two stars and three. It's definitely better than the last one, but too many annoying people. At the start, Baily also spent too much time away from the shop, but the second half had her making up for itp; so that saved that aspect.

A rabbit farmer is poisoned to death and a number of things intertwine in the plot. The hints are very heavy in the second half, but it still holds together. The character of Bailey is still interesting even if I'm still frustrated that a woman who survived the tough NY work scene can't seem to put a few people in their place. Again, barely, I'll keep reading.
