I couldn't put it down. I recommend blocking out a day for yourself and start early so you don't have to stop reading it! I could've put it down, but I was so intrigued by the new character, Bee, that I wanted to see what happens.

Fall back into the world of Fitz and the Fool and ride along on a new adventure! Can't wait for the next book to come out.

Ebbene sì, consegnata la tesi, università chiusa, tanto tempo libero, avevo in teoria altri libri da leggere and yet here we are...

A typical Hobb-book with a very slow start, very focused on our main-characters, their thoughts and emotional turmoil. Suspense is built up consistently and in the last third the pace picks up significantly. I had to get used to the new perspective but in the end I really enjoyed it.

Reading this book made me so happy I wanted to rush through it and savour each and every word all at the same time. Robin Hobb is just a fabulous writer and I especially love how she crafts characters that are so vivid and lovable.
