This book is super creepy but I couldn't put it down, thank goodness for a normal life... I have book 2 on the way

AWESOME. Great narrator, great story. I was wary going into a second person narrative, but this was perfection. By the end, I was all in and wanted a CRAZY STALKER PSYCHOPATH to get the girl.

I have a lot of feelings about this book. Most are good, some are not so good. I really loved the perspective the book was written from. Feeling like Joe was actually talking about me and to me gave the book that spooky, chills on your spine feeling that people told me about. I liked that all of the characters were so flawed, without many redeeming qualities, because that’s life. Not everyone is a great person, but that doesn’t make them BAD people, just people with issues. Except for Joe, he was terrible to the core. I didn’t like the way he talked about Beck’s body in the slightest. It made me cringe every time he said something about it. All in all I enjoyed listening to this book. As a huge fan of the Netflix show, I had super high hopes for the book that, for the most part, were met.

I really enjoyed this, I had already watched the Netflix show so I knew what I was in for, but this was actually pretty different (not as much happened.) I obviously disliked Joe but also Beck in this, as you only see her through Joes eyes in the book. The ending was a lot more brutal and I just think Joe is generally a better villain without Penn Badgley convincing you he is a good guy
