I saw the subtitle "A Love Story" and thought hmmmm, but went ahead with it anyway and probably shouldn't have. I've been very meh about romance in books for a while and this was no different. This is a well-written book and I was interested enough in the story until about midway through and then I was just bored until the last 20ish%. I was expecting a lot more astronaut content and a lot less lovey content, so it was disappointing for me, but I did really enjoy reading about women in Joan's circumstances in this time period.
