Really enjoyed this book! Didn’t expect it to be a love story but it had me tearing up during parts, especially the end.

why was this book one second long. for some reason it felt so short. maybe because tjr normally gives me these long winded complicated characters and storylines but this one felt tragic but simple. maybe it’s because it had to do with one tense moment being come back to over and over again. my poor space lesbians they are both so strong and so in love and a victim of their circumstances. i’m not surprised. but the world is cruel.  i really liked joan’s outlook and perspective on life. i aspire to be this passionate. and aw the niece.
the wives of the fallen astronauts coming to watch in houston… that got me.

Had me sobbing at the end. The relationship was so sweet. I could only hope to have something like theirs in the future. I liked that the book didn’t focus on needing everyone to announce their sexuality and others accepting it. It was just very touching and the friendships were also well done and then the space element was so cool too - top marks all around.

HOLY. SHIT.

This book was AMAZING. Yes, it started off slow (the first 70% really took its time), but even then it kept me hooked and interested the whole way through. And then that ENDING—MY GOD. I was literally biting my nails… no, literally.

I have NEVER cried my eyes out the way I did with this book. It ripped me apart and somehow put me back together all at once. Ahhh, it was just so, so good. Taylor Jenkins Reid knows how to completely wreck me in the best possible way.
