It was such an amazing book—easy to read, with a good rhythm and a great story. Throughout the whole story, I felt so many emotions. I hated Barbara, I adored what Vanessa brought into Joan’s life, and but I adored the way Vanessa enriched Joan’s life and how their relationship evolved and endured over time.

Ultimately, the story left me with a powerful reflection on the significance of meaningful human connections and the strength of emotional bonds.
