Okay so I never would have picked this lol. I’m trying out a book club and this is the September pick. You know what tho? I actually quite liked it. I was super intimidated by all the space jargon and, I mean, a lot of it did, indeed, go over my head lmao. It took about 100 pages, but I actually got pretty into it and thought it was interesting. I really liked Joan’s character and I enjoyed reading about Joan’s dynamic with her sister and niece. I thought the romance was sweet. Lowkey maybe think the ending would have been more satisfying if Vanessa had died ???? idk maybe I’m a psycho for that. I’m glad I got to read something I wouldn’t have otherwise read!
