It'sa 1ittle slow to
start but this start to Celaena, Dorian, & Chaol's journey is just fantastic!!

I wish I was able to give books half stars because this is closer to a 4.5 than a 4. I am obsessed with Sarah J Maas’s writing. This book is a little slow in parts but never ever boring. It builds in all the right places.

I know there is much debate about the order of the TOG series but I am glad I took a friends advice and read the Assassins Blade first. It really gave the stories she told about Sam or Arobynn some depth. You felt her anger a lot more knowing the background of them.

Also, I’m loving the buildup of her new love life after Sam. I really hope it ends up being Chaol, though.

I was glad to have read the prequel because it gave me a lot of backstory to Celaena. It helped me understand why she is the way she is. I loved seeming where she ended up being in the end of this book compared to the prequel. Although the story felt slow at moments, I still enjoyed the Celaena kicking ass!!! And the fight science was *cheifs kiss* and it was not even the best compared to the other fighting scenes that Ms. Sarah J. Mass writes.

A little slow to start, but finished with great potential. Very anxious to delve into the next in the series.

nem tudom, hogy amikor először olvastam hogy értettem bármit is belőle, mikor most másodjára olvasva is nehezen tudtam összekötni a szálakat
