I felt like his was a bit too slow and jumpy at the beginning to give it a full five stars but I was still so good. A devastating addition to the series.

I really enjoy the deep story telling of these books. The character building is a work of art, a sign of a great writer. Sabaa Tahir has began a wonderful modern day classic with these books. As this book in particular started a little slow compared to the previous two, I really enjoyed the later part. This sets up what is to be a great finale. I can't wait to see how this thing ends!!! Truly remarkable!

While a lot happens in this book, a lot of the book is filler. I found myself skimming quite a bit through a lot of the middle. The whole book centers around a plot point we already knew was going to happen and then the book ends before we get to the really good stuff. I expect the 4th book is going to be much better since what we have been waiting for it going to be the main focus of that book. This book was just a stepping stone to get there.
