And Always Coming Back is the third short story of the Come What May series, and it was a really great read! Set during lockdown, the short story follows a married couple who are starting to go through a few speedbumps in their relationship, brought on by the current situation. As someone who suffers with depression and had a little bit of a bump in my relationship with my girlfriend during lockdown for very similar reasons, I found that this short story really hit home and I appreciated the honesty and openness that shone through. Something I didn't quite like about it, though, was the short mini sex scene at the end which felt a bit gratuitous, but I'm really glad I picked this one up!

A lovely story following David and Evan, a married couple who are trying to make their way through quarantine while also trying to keep their marriage together. Then when you are locked up with your partner, endless time on your hands and without your support network outside your apartment door, things don't always go smoothly for ever.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters are fun and their situation and emotions are very relatable, not only for couples. It's a quick and easy read for times where you are in need of a sweet story with a little bit more emotional depth to make it through quarantine.
