First off, I was lucky enough to have received an ARC of this book. It was my first ever ARC and was a truly amazing experience!
I adored the writing and could feel the passion this author has for her book. The world building is very original and well thought out. I was a bit confused in the beginning but made a few notes (yes, I'm one of those readers) and everything made sense after a while. There are some very tragic scenes in the book that made me very emotional (please read the trigger warnings if you have any triggers) but I do love a book that can bring out my emotions and make me feel things!
The ending of this book also had me thinking twice about the characters... are the bad guys really bad? Are the good guys really good? I cannot wait for the next installment to find out what happens!
