It's got less allusions and annoying chapter intros than the rest of the books which is sad

I don’t want to say my expectations were low for this book. But I didn’t really expect much from this book or from the ending. However, I absolutely loved this book and I loved the ending. I thought the resolution was very clever and it surprised me. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this book since I finished it and it surprises me. It was fun to have this book be in a different viewpoint. This book was just as much weird and fun as the the other Alcatraz books and was a great conclusion to this series.

Hilariously, my book group met yesterday to discuss our reading of the first book.
And at the time of writing this review, at least 133 other people got their copies today (Saturday) which is early because the book technically doesn't come out until Tuesday.
Which means I shouldn't actually finish the review until Thursday.
So I'll just say this right now.

It was worth the wait. And I'm smiling.
