I actually loved this short novella, which apparently serves as kind of a preview for another book by Jojo Moyes, [b:The Girl You Left Behind|13637360|The Girl You Left Behind|Jojo Moyes|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1339865124s/13637360.jpg|19249629], which is now much higher on my TBR shelf as a result.
The story goes back and forth between two couples, decades apart from one another, who are celebrating their honeymoons in Paris. In both cases, things aren't going nearly as smoothly as they anticipated and doubt about marriage is a common theme.
I look forward to the next book to see where all this is headed and to determine how the storylines will connect with each other.

I thought I had sworn of Romance novels all together but I guess there really is something like ''Reading a book at the right time''. Can't wait to dive into ''The Girl You Left Behind''. It definetly will be one of the books to read in the near future.

I think I just like Jojo Moyes writing! This novella was nothing spectacular, but I appreciated how we got a glimpse into the imperfect starts of two marriages that are held up in The Girl You Left Behind as great love stories.

Loved this book...loved the back and forth of the old and the new and the fact that this was not a totally sanitized version of a romance. The only part of this book that I did not love was the last chapter which I thought really didn't fit in at all.

Duas narrativas que se entrelaçam, duas histórias de amor, ambas em Paris, separadas por quase um século. Fiquei emocionada ao final de cada uma, a gente nunca deixa de ser um pouco romântica, não é?
