This is an absolutely excellent collection. I particularly loved the poems focusing on grief or on motherhood. Duffy is an absolute literary genius and I cannot wrap my head around the insane genius of her word choice, rhyme, and rhythm. This is the second work of hers that I've read and I can't wait to get my hands on more.
Moderate: Death and Death of parent

Duffy writes beautifully, there’s no doubt about that. But I did struggle to connect to the poetry. Some I did connect to, but the majority were just okay to me?
I loved the poems about the bees and the way they move in the world. However, a lot of it was very flowery language with the occasional amazing adjective or description.
