I'm giving it 4 stars cuz after reading the whole series this book was the less memorable, despite still being good.
This series as already carved a place for itself in my heart. It brings to life childhood memories and fantasies while still being so unique, the art style is just gorgeous and reminded me why I love to draw and the characters all have this charm that one can't just ignore... After meeting aunt Lucy I just wanted to give her a hug, she is just so nice. To wrap it up I just came to the conclusion that those kids are smarter than me and that I would be screwed if I were them.

While I enjoyed the introduction to Aunt Lucinda this book was a lot like the first where it read more like a few scenes from a larger book than a standalone book itself. Considering the target age range this might be a good thing because the shorter length makes them less daunting to reluctant readers, but as an adult reader it's a little disappointing because it's done just as soon as I'm really getting into it. I'm also finding it interesting how closely the movie actually followed the book series that it was based on. Sure I noticed some differences but as I'm listening to the audio book I can almost see the corresponding movie scene in my head which is nice. Overall it's a good book, probably a great one if I were a younger reader but as an adult the whole series should really be read in one shot.
