Another great continuation! This one really helps with the overarching plot rather than just being another short adventure. I loved the world building!
Juste wow. Il y a autant de pages que dans les tomes précédents, mais j'ai l'impression d'avoir mis plus de temps à le lire tellement il se passe de choses !
J'avais oublié que c'étaient les fées qui retenaient Arthur prisonnier et pourquoi elles le faisaient.
J'avais aussi oublié que les livres faisaient passer des messages importants : le passage avec la licorne est incroyable, plusieurs fois on s'aperçoit que Jared pleure (hé oui les garçons pleurent et c'est normal)...
C'est sans doute mon tome préféré pour le moment.

Now we get to see elves! Very exciting, but also kind of bittersweet. I fully agree with their plight, and the Grace siblings just proving them right by tricking them again and becoming more resolute than ever about not destroying the Guide was pretty sad. The elves are being perfectly reasonable, kids! Destroy the book! (Also the phooka was fun, like a mix of Rafiki and the Cheshire Cat.)
These are kind of like popcorn or chips for me. Just can't stop. On to number four I go!
Another perfectly acceptable entry in the series. The Grace children learn that they have an actual "big bad" enemy (as opposed to the previous scattershot danger), there is much discussion about the fate of the "Field Guide," and Jared struggles with his temper and uses his wits to save his siblings and himself. Also, we meet crazy Aunt Lucinda, who is awesome. Also, having a twin can be convenient. Also, the "Field Guide" goes missing. Also, Mark Hamill is a pretty darn capable narrator. It's a bit surprising that the authors waited until the third entry in the series before introducing the actual scary villain, and may not have been the best choice, since he ends up feeling a bit tacked-on. Still, definitely not a bad way to spend an hour or two.
