I could not put this book down!! I read it in a day! I just couldn’t stop!! Elle Kennedy has a way of making you want the player! & each one has had a heart of gold under their player facade. Dean was no exception, as the king of players! & Allie trying to use him as her rebound, but the explosive chemistry they had just jumped off the page! & then the third act problems hit, & I seriously cried! I did not expect that in the slightest! Gahh!! This series has my heart, why did it take so long for me to read them?!?!

Okay this one was definitely a tear jerker towards the end there. I can't believe what happened to Beau. I'm still in shock.

I loved this whole book though. It's not my favorite out of the three books I've read so far but it was still a fantastic read. I was laughing pretty often anime reading this. I absolutely loved Dean and Allie together. I'm glad Allie found someone who wasn't going to hold her back or hurt her(at least not intentionally).

I hated Sean in this book. Which was surprising because I really liked him in the last book. But he was an absolute asshole in this book. And we really get to see just how toxic the relationship between Allie and Sean really was. The things he said to her and the names he called her were just downright appalling and I'm so glad that Allie stood her ground the entire book and refused to get back with him(and even to just be friends with him in the end).

I loved seeing the appearances from the previous characters again. I love how protective Garrett was of Allie(with Allie being his girlfriend Hannah's best friend) when everyone found out about Dean and Allie's relationship. Logan was just hilarious as always. I wish Tucker had shown up more, but with that cliffhanger I understand a little bit why he was somewhat MIA throughout this book. And I'm excited to get into his and Sabrina's story.

All in all I'm still completely loving series and can't wait to continue it. I'm getting through these books faster than I thought I would. That's how good they are.

Both the storyline and characters were kind of flat and there was barely any development.

I genuinely couldn’t figure out the plot besides them wanting to bone every few scenes. There were so many areas of the story that could be developed to make it have more depth (Allie believing in love despite everything with Sean, Dean’s party boy image when in reality he’s actually more than that, their differences when it comes to love) but for some reason, the author mainly focused on their physical relationship, which got annoying about quarter of the way through, not gonna lie.

I thought it was over when they finally got together as a couple but Beau’s death at the end felt so random. I get that the story is part of a series and it might further develop in the next book but it was so rushed and unnecessary in this one.

Had high hopes for this story since I was pleasantly surprised by the first book, but this one was sadly not it

I really liked Allie & Dean! I thought they were a cute couple. They went through their hardships and that helped them become a better couple. I cried when you know who dies, it broke my heart. Just the fact that he was there when Dean & Allie kind of debut as a couple in front of their friends. I kind of loved that their love language was physical touch. Normally I’m not a type of person who enjoys it or enjoys reading it, but this was done right. Sometimes it can be down cringy but I thought it was cute and just showed how much they love each other. Also, they way that Dean didn’t even notice that he was touching Allie at some parts, made my heart swell! I feel like Dean was just waiting for someone to take him by surprise and Allie did that. Allie was waiting for someone who excites her and he did that for her.

I liked this book a lot!! It’s an easy and quick read. I like the way it incorporates characters from the previous books. For whatever reason, I just didn’t love the characters as much as I did in previous books. Something about Dean just seemed a little off to me.
I also didn’t like that they kept it secret from their friends and that their friends didn’t really approve. One thing I really liked is that Allie took a break to find herself. I think that was good for her as an individual and it added to her character development

Ouuuu this was a good one, each book in this series gets better and better. LOVE the sexual tension in this book!! Was really interesting getting to know the playboy dean and see why his brain works the way it does. Love Allie as a girl next door character. The chemistry between these too is literally on fire. Job well done by Elle Kennedy once again!! Bravo 👏👏👏

I absolutely loved this book, definitely my favourite in the off campus series so far, however the ending definitely caught me off guard haha but it actually made the book better for me personally. I loved Deans character development as it didn’t happen immediately (i hate love at first sight!) but i love the slow changes in his character of the time him and Allie were getting closer. Allie is such a great character, i feel like Hannah and Grace (the love interests in the past two books) were written as being these “quirky” “cute” girls when really they just ended up being a bit annoying. Allie is definitely written in this way too but i feel like her character is much better developed than the other two girls, she’s not annoying or cringy and she seems genuinely sweet. I liked this plot line the most so far, not too dark but not so lack lustre that it’s like every other book out there. I cant wait to get onto ‘The Goal’ and see Tucker and Sabrina’s relationship flow. Absolutely love this series, i will be reading the Briar U after this as well :)
