I absolutely ADORED this book. Cash and Ev are EVERYTHING!! Two broken souls coming together and realizing they were never broken they just were missing their other half. When I said Ann Einerson is one of my new favorite authors I mean it! Every single book was a 5 star read without a doubt and I’m so invested in this series. I read all 3 books in 2 days I could not put them down. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
God the writing was awful. The only reason it was somewhat sweet is because of their story and the mmc. The writing was so cliche that I didn't want to read the next line, it felt so boring and hard to go through.

I’m always here for a forced proximity romance and especially a brothers best friend romance. However, felt like the latter didn’t really play a prominent role in this story. Enjoyed it all the same.
“She’s so damn beautiful. And off-limits, I remind myself. Theo has made that crystal clear.”
Love this little flashbacks to their childhood together. And once again, his family dynamic added a nice additional layer to the story.
“Can you envision a life without me? If the answer is yes, I’ll let you go when the time comes. It will break me, but I’ll do it for your happiness”
Also that Evelyn’s able to enable Cash to not be conscious of his scar.
This was cute and whilst it leant more of the characters than the plot, I plan to continue with the series.

i don't know why or how but his one was so much worse than the first book. i am so annoyed by the lack of chemistry and lackluster character development. i hated it!
